Orbiter TrailVest

Introduction

TrailVest is a basic outdoor model from XEN Equipment, building on the legendary Konger by MASKGear. It is designed for trail running and outdoor activities, ideal for short to medium routes. It features durable water-resistant PES fabric. TrailVest offers 6 pockets: 4 with zippers and 2 with Velcro, providing sufficient storage for essentials like phone, keys, gels, and water. Thanks to the Snake-bands system and adjustable underarm cord, it fits various sizes (S–XXL) ensuring comfortable wear. Soft padding and the absence of reflective elements highlight its minimalist and versatile design.

Usage

Orbiter was originally developed for demanding disciplines like Le Parkour and Freerunning. The TrailVest model is specially adapted for runners.
However, it can also be used for other leisure activities.

Special Features:

  • Cross-cord: External storage space for additional clothing. You can tighten a jacket or windbreaker in this cross-lacing.

  • Cord-lock: A loop to attach the free end of the underarm lacing cord.

  • Snake-bands: A set of three straps that allows you to adjust the Orbiter to the optimal size. Size adjustment is done using our special hook (Size-adjuster hook).

Good Advice

  • The Orbiter backpack can be used by men, women, and children depending on individual body proportions, but correct adjustment (fixation) and comfort during activity are essential.

  • It can be worn in transport without needing to remove it, provided comfort is maintained.

  • We recommend using the Orbiter with functional (running) close-fitting clothing for maximum comfort.

  • Valuables should be stored in the front (chest) pockets of the Orbiter.

  • Adjust straps and size calmly and safely in a secure place.

  • Listening to music via headphones is possible while using the Orbiter, but observe safety rules regarding awareness of surroundings and movement.

Always set the correct Orbiter size:

Using a size other than that recommended for your chest circumference may compromise fixation and functionality of the Orbiter and/or its components.

Not Recommended

  • Wear the Orbiter on bare skin

  • Use the Orbiter together with another backpack (may cause abrasion damage)

  • Sit too long with the Orbiter in a reclined position

  • Store electronics in the chest area while driving

  • Store sharp, heavy, or bulky items in the Orbiter

Product Description

  • Chest and back panels
    The product is divided into two main panels with pockets. The first panel is on the chest, the second on the back.

  • Connecting part
    The panels are joined with cord lacing, which is also the fastest way to adjust size.

  • Adjustable straps
    Each Orbiter comes with two straps. Both can be adjusted to the appropriate size.

Snake-bands Adjustment

  • Snake-bands are extension straps allowing you to enlarge or reduce the Orbiter in one step. They are a last resort if standard elements (straps and underarm cord) are insufficient for size adjustment.

  • Each strap (6 in total) is rolled and secured with an elastic band. Adjustment is done using our special "Size-adjuster hook".

  • YKK zippers

  • Hand wash (max 40°C)

  • Do not dry-clean

  • Do not iron

  • Do not bleach

  • Do not tumble dry

Hydration

Maximum capacity 500 ml. A soft flask up to 250 ml fits inside. Suitable placement is the larger zip pocket. The same pocket on the other panel can also be used, giving a total liquid capacity of 500 ml.
